The location allows pleasant walks and mountain bike rides in the Regional Parks of Monteveglio and Rocca Malatina and the area is historically very rich, claiming a number of castles and roman churches (Vignola, Guiglia, Castello di Serravalle, Abbazia di Monteveglio), but is also famous for its typical food and wines: excellent restaurants, local ham, Parmigiano cheese and wine producers at a few min drive. For the golfers, a 9 hole golf course is only 15 minutes away.
Within 35 km you can reach Bologna and Modena, and within 80 to 130 km you can reach Verona, Florence, Pistoia, Lucca, Ravenna, Imola and the Adriatic Coast.
